Wine Trip to Bordeaux
September 25, 2017
We have been hosting overseas wine trips since 2010 and have just come back from a wonderful visit to southern Italy – which we can thoroughly recommend! We are now introducing these overseas trips to The Telegraph and look to go away three or four times a year.
Our first adventure will be to the very apex of the world of wine – Bordeaux. We will travel from 25th to 27th September 2017. Places will be limited to 18 so it is imperative to book early. We aim to keep the price of these trips at under £300 person – and reserving flights and hotels is key to achieving a great price.
We will visit three wineries.
- One in the Medoc
- One in St Emillion
- One in Entre Deux Mers
- with our favourite lady winemaker Estelle Roumage of Chateau Lestrille.
The trip will include all flights, transport in France and hotels.
Bordeaux is a wonderful city and it is great to have friends there to illuminate our visit.
In the past we have been to Champagne, Alsace, Bordeaux, Tuscany, Portugal, the Southern Rhône, Piedmont and Puglia. We are planning trips to Sancerre in November and Greece in April 2018 and we will be delighted to revisit some of our already visited favourite regions.
We talk about these destinations at our regular Telegraph Wine Appreciation Evenings – held on the last Tuesday of each month.
